He helps clients align personal and business goals, such as preparing their businesses for transition to new ownership, estate planning, risk management and actively preparing for multiple contingencies to maximize value. John is also the founder of the Trusted Advisor™ Network, which provides complementary advisory services for business owners.

 

Strategic Succession is an independent advisory firm. Founder, John Robinson, has been helping business owners build value in their companies and optimize sale or succession outcomes for 35 years. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Elder Planning Counsellor (EPC) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation from the Chicago-based Exit Planning Institute. The Institute is the leading worldwide association of professional advisors helping business owners create and execute proactive exit strategies.

John has had 2 successful exits of his own, and so he knows first hand the challenges business owners face when getting ready to sell or exit. You may run into John in a variety of professional organizations including Advocis Estate Planning Council, ACG and the Board of Trade.  In his spare time, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation and is a contributing member of Rain City Housing & Support Society.

Ziana came to Canada in 1986 and has worked in all aspects of the financial industry since her arrival. Over the years, she has obtained her life license, ACS & ALMI. In her spare time, Ziana enjoys world travel, learning international languages and relaxing at the spa.
